Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES)
Known as Alpha-Stim (CES) is a microcurrent waveform that activates particular groups of nerve cells that are located at the brainstem.
It is a neurological "fine tuning". The Alpha rhythms are accompanied by feelings of calmness, relaxations and increased mental focus.
The neurological mechanisms that are occurring during the Alpha state appear to decrease stress-effects, reduce agitation, stabilize mood, and control
both sensations and perceptions of particular types of pain, anxiety, depression and insomnia.
Stress-induced anxiety causes the cells of the human body to produce waveforms in different frequencies than normal.
Cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) involves the use of bioelectric therapy to reestablish the normal electrical flow in the human body by producing waveforms similar to the body's own in a relaxed state.
